Coders making visuals for musicians making audio for coders making…
This time, we’re going 3D.
CODA I.ii OK3D puts the audience at the centre of two converging screens projecting the framework of virtual landscapes. Coders and electroacoustic musicians jam as we pull back the curtain to give you a unique view of how technology, design, and music are used symbiotically to create a singular event.
Referencing Radiohead’s iconic album OK Computer, CODA I.ii OK3D will explore disquiet and unease in the technological era.
IN OTHER WORDS…
In this super cool event, we put interactive design coders and electronic musicians together to jam. You get to see the code, the landscapes they create, and hear the sweet sweet stylings of local musicians. And there’s beer.
Curated by Brady Marks and Technology Direction by Carey Dodge, featuring the designs of Tim Rolls, and Chao Feng and the music of Michelle Helene Mackenzie, RiDylan, and Brady Ciel Marks.
May the 4th be with us all.
