Acknowledging the changing landscape of work within the wake of the pandemic, we are posting for two Associate positions as well as a single Managing Producer position. We will either hire two Associates OR one Manager but not both.

MANAGING PRODUCER – permanent full-time

The Managing Producer has a strategic mind in addition to an ability to execute and can work independently as well as part of a team.  Responsibilities include planning, curatorial and production coordination for the Live Performance 360 series, the SLaM Program and the Plays2Perform@ project. The position also supports the company’s touring efforts such as Red Phone which will be at PuSh in 2023 before travelling to South America in the Spring. The Managing Producer supports the processes of grant writing/reporting in concert with our Development Director and coordinates the company’s marketing and communication efforts alongside our Publicist and Graphic Designer.

In addition to producing responsibilities, this position has the following core accountabilities:
Communications and Operations: leading, coordinating and executing the ongoing activities of the organization including staffing, facilities, marketing, development, finances and audience/donor relations.
Fundraising and Administration: managing and ensuring grants and reports are created and submitted, statistics are gathered, annual reports are generated, and the key filings/responsibilities of the society are met.

This is a full-time position (35 hours a week), with a salary range of $58,000 to $62,000 (plus a generous extended health benefits package).

ASSOCIATE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR – Permanent part-time

Reporting to the Artistic Director, the Associate Artistic Director’s responsibilities include artistic planning/curatorial assistance for the Live Performance 360 series, the SLaM Program and the Plays2Perform@ project. The position also supports the company’s touring efforts such as Red Phone which will be at PuSh in 2023 before travelling to South America in the Spring. The Associate Artistic Director position provides support to the Artistic Director generally and specifically with respect the national STOP ASIAN HATE/Celebrate Asian Excellent movement. The Associate Artistic Director supports the processes of grant writing/reporting and coordinates the company’s marketing and communication efforts.

Specifically, the Associate Artistic Director supports the artistic direction of the company in the following ways:

  • Coordinating SLaM, LP360 and Plays2Perform@ programming
  • Administrating contracts with artists and related scheduling/logistics.
  • Managing marketing, publicity and communication efforts.
  • Assisting the senior staff with curation, research and meetings.

This is a part-time position (20 hours a week), with a salary range of $28,000 to $32,000 (plus a generous extended health benefits package).

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER – Permanent part-time

The position of Associate Producer plans for and manages several programs with the company including Live Performance 360, the SLaM Program and the Plays2Perform@ project. The position also supports the company’s touring efforts such as Red Phone which will be at PuSh in 2023 before travelling to South America in the Spring. Reporting to the Artistic Producer, the Associate Producer also works closely with the rest of the Boca del Lupo team. Responsibilities include project management and budgeting; managing and overseeing Front of House activities; contract negotiation; partnership development; providing support to the Artistic Producer; and supporting the operations of the company.

Specifically, the Associate Producer supports the artistic direction of the company in the following ways:

  • Producing events, workshops, residencies and productions.
  • Administrating contracts and related scheduling/logistics.
  • Managing production-related communications/marketing.
  • Assisting senior staff with the overall operations of the company.

This is a part-time position (20 hours a week), with a salary range of $28,000 to $32,000. (plus a generous extended health benefits package)
