Sherry & Jay selected as Finalists for the Siminovitch Prize

Boca del Lupo Co-Artistic Directors Sherry J. Yoon and Jay Dodge are honoured to be 2026 Finalists for the Siminovitch Prize, Canada’s most valuable theatre award.

For decades, Sherry and Jay have been committed to exploring cultural hybridity, interdisciplinary collaboration and deeply immersive storytelling across theatre, design, and technology. From staging shows in shipping containers and plexiglass boxes to sunny meadows and old-growth forest treetops, they have tirelessly sought to expand the definition of a “theatre performance”. To be recognized by a jury of peers for this body of work and contribution to Canadian theatre, especially as a collaborative team, is humbling and fulfilling.
