Tell Me

by Anamika Deb

A Boca del Lupo Micro Performance Series co-presentation with Indian Summer Festival

Boca del Lupo’s Micro Performance Series & Indian Summer Festival co-present Tell Me by multimedia artist Anamika Deb from Montreal. The installation opens on July 5th and runs to July 12th at the Fishbowl on Granville Island.

Tell Me invites you to come share your secrets privately.  Alone, you step into the installation and share your thoughts. In response, Anamika’s real-time immersive and interactive installation will share interwoven stories from previous participants.  What stories do we share? What dreams, fears, tears and secrets will you hear when you tell your story?

In a world where borders and division are rising, Tell Me offers a moment of connection. By weaving together individual stories, dreams and secrets, Anamika aims to create a space that reminds us of our shared humanity—our fears, our desires, and our universal longing for a better future. Tell Me reminds us that we are not alone, using the latest technology to bring us closer together.

Add your voice to the installation! Tell us your secrets in advance by clicking the link button below. Submissions are private and anonymous. It takes about 5 minutes of your time. Your submission will be added to the installation before you arrive.

Come in person to experience the installation. It will be open from noon to 5pm, July 5th to July 12th at The Fishbowl on Granville Island: #100-1398 Cartwright st. map

Anamika Deb is a Multimedia artist, scenographer & VJ.

Her work explores the intricate relationship between humans and the spaces they inhabit. Her practice is centered on deconstructing
this relationship and discovering new ways for world-building that go beyond the conventional 3D notion of a place.

Her work aims to challenge viewers’ perspective and their own influence on the space. Anamika’s art integrates real-time visuals, generative computation, and interactive elements, often using sensors and data to engage audiences in deeply immersive environments. The core of her artistic process lies in exploring thresholds of any given system – be it computational or human.
