Performing Arts Residency on the Coast

A message from our Co-Artistic Directors

We are thrilled to share with you some exciting news. We have received a generous donation of $50,000 from David McCann, a longtime supporter and friend of Boca del Lupo, to help us launch a new Performing Arts Residency on BC’s Sunshine Coast.

Through building a network of infrastructure, most of it already in place, the Performing Arts Residency will focus on the development of new work, building community and offering artists a unique opportunity to create, collaborate, and connect.

We are very grateful to David for his generous and visionary support. David has been a loyal patron and advocate of Boca del Lupo for over a two decades, and we are honored to partner with him on this initiative. David’s donation is a testament to his belief in the power and value of the performing arts, and his commitment to supporting the artistic development and well-being of artists.

Our first residencies will begin as soon as this spring with some of our SLaM participants including artists from Korea, Haida Gawai, the UK, Vancouver and Victoria.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in Boca del Lupo. We hope to see you soon, either online or in person, as we celebrate the creativity and resilience of our artists and community.
