The Fishbowl is Available to Rent!

The Fishbowl, Boca del Lupo’s storefront space in the heart of the city on Granville Island, has played an important role in the company’s history. Boca del Lupo signed the lease in 2014, using The Fishbowl as the centre of our programming including hosting the Micro Performance Series, LivePerformance360, our Pandemic Summer Activations, and countless artist residencies.

We are excited to announce that Boca del Lupo’s Studio: The Fishbowl is now available for weekly rentals.

The Fishbowl rental is available as a space for artist creation, rehearsals, production meetings, writing, or other similar private practice.

The Fishbowl rental is not available for events, public gatherings, invited presentations, or any activity inviting the public into the space. 

Renters shall pay $660 plus GST per week, with a $150 key and damage deposit.

Bookings over 4 weeks in continuous length will be $2100 plus GST per 4 weeks, with a $500 key and damage deposit.

A rental week runs from Monday to Monday. Orientation and key pick up is on Monday at 10am.

The Fishbowl consists of an L-shaped lobby area, and an open creation space with 8’ ceilings (see diagram below for dimensions and details). It has a tv and wifi. The Fishbowl is at Ground level with 1 main double-door, 1 side door & 1 emergency exit. It has an accessible washroom. It also has 2 folding tables, 12 stools, 12 cushions, floor padding, storage shelves, a fridge and a ping pong table.
